Mayor Gary Christenson was honored to welcome former Beebe school student and incoming Malden High School Freshman, Ava Lacasse, fresh from her successful adventure at the North American International Powerlifting Federation Championships. Held August 9th in the Cayman Islands, Lacasse, just 15 years old, was the youngest athlete at the event. She earned four gold medals while representing the USA Junior National Power Lifting Team. Congratulations!
