2020 Street Sweeping Update

As we approach the beginning of our street sweeping season, we wanted residents to be made aware of the impact the COVID-19 situation will have on our approach. Our sweeping program will begin in earnest on May 1st and we encourage residents to make every effort to adhere to the parking schedule that is meant to provide access for the sweeper to the street and curb. However, we will not be enforcing regulations and fining vehicles parked in violation of such while the Governor’s stay at home advisory is in place. We encourage all residents to monitor City of Malden announcements for further updates on this topic.

If you are uncertain of what your street’s sweeping schedule is, please look for the street sign nearest to the location where you park or visit our website at www.cityofmalden.org/streetsweeping. We encourage all residents to use our Street Alerts app to receive automated alerts by text, phone or email as to when your street will be swept.
