Mayor Gary Christenson recently toured three bio-medical device companies in their new offices at 350 Main Street. The companies, SpineFrontier, AxioMed, and NanoFuse are bio-medical device companies focusing on degenerative spine issues. Considered by many to be offering breakthrough technologies, these companies offer surgeons safer and simpler devices that alleviate back and neck pain and provide mobility unlike traditional spine fusion techniques.
“I am proud that these companies are located in Malden,” said Mayor Christenson. “From the research and development of the devices to the training surgical room for educating doctors on this new technique, the facilities are first-class and impressive.”
The companies, spread out over three floors at 350 Main Street, represent an infusion of Boston high-tech firms that are changing the face of modern medicine. This brings the current number of bio-medical companies in Malden to five. “I also commend the owners of 350 Main Street, John and Matt Preotle for investing in their building and helping attract these types of businesses to Malden,” continued the Mayor.
