Absentee Voter Application and Info

If you will be out of town on election day, are physically disabled, or have religious beliefs preventing you from voting in person on Election Day, you may choose to vote by absentee ballot.

To request an Absentee ballot, download and submit the application below, include an original signature and submit to this office via mail, drop box, or email at elections@cityofmalden.org. All absentee ballots must be received back to City Hall by 8:00 PM on Election Day.

Paper applications must be completed with a wet signature and mailed or delivered to our office. Applications may also be submitted by fax at 781-388-0610 or emailed as PDFs or JPEGs so long as they contain wet signatures made by pen, mouse, stylus, or finger. Typed signatures are not acceptable. If you would like a hard copy of the application mailed to you, please call the City Clerk's Office at 781-397-7116.

Completed ballots may be hand delivered to drop boxes located in front of City Hall at 215 Pleasant Street, the Police Station at 800 Eastern Avenue, and at the Senior Center Auditorium at 7 Washington Street during Early Voting hours.
