Green Malden
Green Malden is a new city initiative to take an all-of-government, all-hands-on-deck approach to combating climate change. As Mayor Christenson said in his announcement,
“Green Malden is our boldest step yet in responding to climate change. We know that our community will face major challenges over the next decades, and we have to act now and use all the resources available to us if we are going to succeed. Climate change will impact everything we do, so our response to it must be just as urgent and all-encompassing.
The Green Malden webpage gives an overview of the City's ongoing and completed work to address climate change. Programs residents can sign up for or take part in are listed until "Take Action;" you can read about internal City programs under "Learn More."
Our goal is to help residents understand where we are now, make resident-facing programs more accessible and intuitive, and make it easier to give us feedback about how we can do better.
