Your Vote Counts! August 15 is the Deadline to Register to Vote in Primary Election

The last day to register to vote in the September 4th primary election is Wednesday, August 15 at 8PM. The City Clerk’s Office will be holding extended hours for those who wish to register by this deadline.

The City Clerk’s Office is encouraging Malden voters to take advantage of the month of August to vote by absentee ballot in person at their office located at 110 Pleasant Street, first floor. Office hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday 8AM-4PM; Tuesday 8AM-7PM; Friday 8AM-12PM. As City Hall will be closed on Friday, August 31st, absentee ballot voting on Friday, August 31st will be done by appointment only. Please call the City Clerk’s office at 781-397‑7116 to make an appointment sooner rather than later. Residents are advised to not wait until the last minute if they wish to vote in advance of September 4th.
