Longtime Malden Barber Retires

Wednesday, May 2, 2018

Mayor Gary Christenson recently attended a farewell reception in honor of Anthony “Tony” Cammarata, who turns 90 this summer, for providing exceptional barber service as the owner of Tony’s Barber Shop for more than 55 years. A staple in the community located at 380 Salem Street, Tony’s  great customer service extended beyond the shop as he often travelled to the homes of his longtime customers who were unable to come to him due to age or health issues. Family and friends celebrated and honored Tony’s lifelong career on the very day he turned the keys over to the new owner, coincidentally another Tony!
