The Malden Lions Club was founded in 1937 to support the City of Malden. Their motto is “We Serve”. Originally focused on eye-care health and research, they have expanded to pediatric cancer, diabetes, environmental issues and hunger relief. Their ultimate goal is to empower volunteers to serve their communities, meet humanitarian needs, encourage peace and promote international understanding through Lions clubs. Lions are an international network of 1.36 million men and women in 200 countries who work together to answer the needs that challenge communities around the world. Known for working to end preventable blindness, Lions participate in a wide variety of projects important to their communities. They meet every 1st & 3rd Thursday (Sept - June) at 6:30 PM at Anthony's Restaurant 105 Canal St Malden, MA
